This runner is Sooo pretty! The color is exactly as shown online and the length! Very high quality and perfect for my girlfriend’s baby shower! I will rebuy in other colorsI like the natural look of linen. It lets the furniture breath. Yes, you can see the wood through the center portion of the runner, but not the borders. This doesn’t present a problem for me. It still protects furniture from dust or heavy vases. If you are looking for those heavy crisp table runners you see at hotel weddings—this is not for you. It will wrinkle—it’s linen. STOP NOW if you don’t want to iron. Use your steam iron and spray lightly with water. I draped it over my comforter to keep it from wrinkling after I was done, as it was still damp. If you put it in on a heavy thick hanger you will get a crease. I ended up using a skirt hanger so it would not crease. It will wrinkle if you are not careful handling it. I have not washed this as it didn’t smell coming out of the box. I love it—and you can’t beat the price.if you're looking for something simple and elegant this is for you. I love the simplicity of this table runner. one complaint I have is the wrinkles tend to stay, I would give it a 100 if the wrinkles would fall out better without having to iron.
