So, I'll keep this table bc it just barely has more "pros" than "cons". The style and being in stock are the only reasons I'm keeping it. The quality is sub par. It should be half price and sold in discount stores. Very surprised it is Ashley brand. They aren't best quality, but this is bad even for them.Fortunately, I was prepared for all this bc every issue listed from prior reviews was present here too. Even a tiny corner glass chip.It should have taken 20 mins to assemble (even with poor instructions.) But, I was distracted at the well packaged, but every single part has damage table that I received. I actually think it isn't damage, it's poor manufacturing. Each item has multiple scratches, dents, unfinished sharp ends... even the hardware... bolts were crooked, partially stripped and one slightly deformed.I have a 5 yo that visits often so I used a sander to "soften" ragged ends and even had to enlarge too-small pre drilled holes. Its all metal. I ruined a drill bit just to fix this table.The last two holes were so small in size I spent an hour deciding if I should super glue (no, not with a glass top and a 5 yo), disassemble and return (I read previous reviews and kept the box just in case, but ive been waiting on delayed furniture for months).Anyway, I was able to "bootleg" the table and finish assembly. We are awaiting a new build home, this table probably won't go. Idk how I'd feel abt it's quality then. It's ok for now, as I'm desperate to finish this room.If you have discriminating taste and want quality, don't buy it. If the room is dim, or you don't mind overpaying a little... go ahead. With light reflections, you won't see much of the defects...Super easy to unbox and assemble quickly. Looks great!Easy to assemble, takes about 10 mins. Such a great addition to the living room. This end table is well worth the price and is quite sturdy as well. If you like the look you should definitely make this purchase!First off, these look stunning in my living room!!! I purchased both a coffee table and one end table. They were easy to assemble and both were assembled the exact same way. Only thing that was disappointing was the pieces for the coffee table looked and felt rusted coming out the box. The end table however, the pieces looked new/normal/shiny. Once I put the coffee table together, I really couldn’t tell the legs are rusty, unless of course you are super nosey and looking too hard. They turned out nice, as you can see!!!Bought this a few months ago and wanted to test it out for a while before I wrote a review. This table looks really cool and modern. It adds that extra pop to our living room. Highly recommend purchasing coasters for this unit as it is made of glass and you don’t want to see water rings from your cups. As far as craftsmanship goes, meh…. It could be a little better. I wouldn’t put anything really heavy on this table. The corners don’t line up perfectly, but they line up enough to be acceptable. Don’t expect this to be next level when it comes to the quality of the corners. There will be a little gap between the pieces in a couple spots… but hey, for the price, this table is really cool. If it wasn’t, it wouldn’t be in our living room still. Go for it.The coffee table has a neat design and does not take up a lot of visual space as do more solidly constructed tables. That’s where the plus stops. Assembly is outwardly simple and straightforward IF all the parts are properly cut and the mating hardware is properly aligned. This table arrived with the ends of the diagonal pieces not squarely cut at the end—leaving arc spaces between the ends and the frame. Several of the mounting brackets which are used to bolt the pieces together were misaligned at angles so that the mounting bolts could not draw the pieces together properly—leaving several of the diagonal risers overhanging the frame rather that properly positioned on the frame. Many of the pieces show pock marks and dents—speaking to the low cost nature of the material used.I have seen this table offered in many local furniture stores and none had the glaring defects of this assemble at home version. It is as if Ashley sent its seconds out to be sold to the DIY buyers and shipped the good tables to the furniture stores. Pricing for this table ranges wildly from store to store with one selling it for over $300. So, if you can hope for the best and are willing to take a chance on getting a good one, the Amazon price is the lowest.A screw was broken and the L-shaped screwdriver was not included. We made it work though.The bolts did not line up and several did not fit the pre-threaded holes. Several of the metal braces had spots of rust on the and the metal base had puts in the metal. Shocked this quality of item was even shipped. Thankfully Amazon issued a refund and allowed the item to be disposed of. Item received was useless- couldn’t even put it completely together due to non- alignment of bolts into the Threaded slots. Was quite disappointed - it was lovely in the picture.I have order two of the same tables. They are not symertical. Placed together but they are not aligned properly. Either can be adjusted fromThe bottom or topvery easy to assemble and looks great in my condo. I did check measurements before ordering but I wish It was a bit smaller.Quality was so bad. Did not have any shine.Great table, we love it. It's exactly what we were hoping for and it is good quality.
